How to set up a We-Q session

1. Check your mail inbox for your confirmation email from We-Q. Click on “Create a survey”. Don’t forget to check your spam folder.

2. Name your team in the free text box. Hit “Proceed to Step 2”.



3. Insert your name in the boxes and select “Create your team now”.



4. If you’re going to complete the survey as a team member, here’s where you can choose. If you’re a coach, you’ll probably select “No”.


5. Now you get to invite participants by including their email addresses. Be sure to separate them with a semi-colon!

You can also tailor the message to the team by adding any personal touches or specific instructions like “Please complete the survey by Wednesday”, or even a frame of reference you’re considering, like “Have our special project in mind when you answer these questions”.

As soon as you’ve ready, select “Invite to complete survey”. And emails will be sent to all the participants.


6. This is the status screen where you can see who has completed the survey at any time.


You can also:

  • Delete or resend invitations.
  • Invite new people.
  • Add your own submission, if you’re a member of the team.
  • Close the survey.


7. You’ll receive email updates as the survey is completed and you can use any of those to go back to the status screen.


8. When you have all the submissions that you’re expecting – simply select “Close Survey”.

You’ll receive a final warning that you’re closing the survey and no further additions will be possible!


9. On selecting “OK” you’ll be taken to an online version of your results which you can scroll through.

Within 25 minutes (usually a bit sooner) you’ll receive a PDF report of the results in your email inbox. Remember to check your Spam folder, just in case!
